The Writing Center at UC San Diego was launched in 2012 to serve students in all six of the university’s undergraduate colleges; in 2015, services for graduate students were added. Individual assistance is provided by undergraduate peer mentors and graduate consultants who have been carefully selected on the basis of their writing skills and their ability to communicate with their fellow students. We help with immediate writing tasks, long-term projects, and the overall development of students as writers.
The Center is funded by the Division of Academic Affairs and the Graduate Division.
